Dr. Kiteria Finlayson, DO founded Thrivetic Health and Wellness Center to practice medicine in a manner that aligns with her core values. Those values include building relationships of substance and improving the quality of life of others.

Meet Dr. Finlayson!
Dr. Kiteria Finlayson was a non-traditional osteopathic medical student and now practices as a non-traditional Osteopathic Family Physician. Prior to medical school, she worked in a variety of industries including transportation. While working as an Over-the-Road truck driver, she witnessed firsthand the challenges drivers faced in staying healthy and accessing healthcare while working so hard. This experience was one of the reasons that motivated Dr. Finlayson to become a physician. She graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biology (concentration Cell Biology and Biotechnology) and went on to attending an osteopathic medical school. After obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, she completed residency training in Family Medicine. While providing patient care in a variety of settings both inpatient and outpatient, she wanted to learn more beyond just managing chronic diseases. Dr. Finlayson’s thirst for knowledge and “outside the box” mindset led her to studying Lifestyle Medicine, Hormonal Therapy and Functional Medicine.
Dr. Finlayson is a homeschooling mom of two teenagers. When she is not working, she’s “glamping” with her family and two dogs. She enjoys reading, dancing, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

What makes Thrivetic HWC unique?
1- One size does not fit ALL! You will be seen & evaluated by Thrivetic HWC as the individual that you are. We’ll then develop a personalized plan just for you!
2- Quality time: Have you ever felt rushed at your doctor’s appointment after waiting months to see them? Our initial in-person visits are at least 45 minutes and follow-ups (in-person/virtual) are at least 30 minutes.
3- Membership-based model: We do not accept insurance which revitalizes the physician-patient relationship (see #1 and 2 above). Members may be able to use their FSA and HSA to pay their dues. We suggest Members obtain catastrophic health insurance.
